Shirts & Merch

When I was in high school, before I started #GenesiaDoingThings and when I was still learning photoshop - one of my earliest projects was a t-shirt, commemorating the Seniors of the c/o 2004 at my local high school. This was before social media, so there are no pics. But shirts are something I really enjoy designing. Below are some shirts for Chicago Debates (photos courtesy of their staff photog), for the Minnesota Urban Debate League and National Debate Tournament 2019 (photos courtesy of Armand Hayes Photography). Taking grown ups ideas, but finding a way to make them interesting and cool to students can be a challenge. But I think we pulled it off! You'll also find a few shots of merch for The Minnesota Urban Debate League.

This shirt was for the for the National Debate Tournament hosted by Gopher Debate on the UMN's main TC campus.

My idea was to flip the UMN and NDT branding a bit, to create a custom look for the tournament. What's cool about this photo is that this ream flipped my flip overnight using a Cricut machine to put their team's imprint on the our official event design in time for their yearly team photo. It was impressive to say the least.
